For Dutch taxpayers, participation in the fund is fiscally attractive. The investment falls outside the scope of Dutch Box 3 taxation, meaning no forfaitary wealth tax is due.

If the Netherlands were to transition in the future to a tax system based on actual returns, the returns on this investment would also fall outside Dutch taxation, as the underlying activities take place in Dubai and are taxed locally at the applicable rate of 0%.
